The aim of this workshop is to present the state of the art in the field of Micro Factory and discuss the future of this important sector of activity, to reinforce the long established Swiss Japanese contacts in this field, to lay the foundation for a Swiss Micro Factory Consortium as a counterpart and privileged partner of the Japanese Desktop Factory Consortium.
